Disadvantages: Some disturbing lyrics at times

...This was one of my first rap albums, but since I have bought many more. After hearing the track "Gimme Some More" on a music channel I decided I wanted to hear more from Busta Rhymes and so purchased the album "Extinction Level Event". The first track "Intro - There's Only One Year Left" sets the scene for the rest of the album, or the dark parts of it. A role play between a child and an elder describes an apocalypic future for our planet. The gradual deepending of the voice as the prophecy is described makes for eerie listening and I was glad when the first proper track came on. The album was released in 1998, before rappers were truely attracted to change their genre to comply with a more mainstream demand. Having spoken about the dark side of the album, I must point out that not all the tracks have such a gloomy basis. Tracks... Read review

Advantages: good mix of all of the songs
Disadvantages: the dvds can be boring

...This is a great cd/dvd set. It has some of the bands best and worst songs on it. It can be bought at most good music stores for about fifteen pounds. It is great but there are a few down sides like on the dvd there is about six or seven perfomances of "im not ok." It is a good song but on this its a bit over played. I love all of the My Chemical Romance covers there all different from each other. Mcr have had many great songs, and most of them are on the CD or theDVD. I would recomend this DVD to any MCR fan if they dont have it and to any music lover who likes music DVDs because most of the DVD is great except for the many perfomances of "im not ok."... Advantages: Muse at their best, almost all their great hits, 'Best live band' Captured perfectly
Disadvantages: The need to buy the cd to recieve the dvd.

...Capturing the Wembley atmosphere essence perfectly this dvd is a fantastic follow up to their previous award winning hullaballoo. Countless cameras allow the viewer to feel as if they were at the concert, ontop of this we see Matt playing some of Muses' most famous songs, including extended versions additional solos and a great set up. The Cd is also amazing, for either a first muse album or to add to your collection of them all, it offers some of the best tracks seen throughout their career whic, if you dont want to go buying all their cds, makes it alot easier for you to enjoy their best work. Or for the avid fan it features never heard before extras and sonic exetrmities! Pure ear pleasure delivered on on perfectly flowing cd.... Read review
