...I found this one on the shelf at Woolworths along with all the other stuff that goes for £5 when shops decide to have a clearance. I actually bought it out of interest to hear what was so bad on it that it was only worth £5 pound. Fortunately I was pleasantly suprised. Gold has a good collection of hits from his shows. The best ones were "Memory" from Cats and "Another Suitcase Another Hall" from Evita and Don't Cry for me Argentina. But there is a good sprinkling of other musicals including The Phantom of the Opera , Superstar, Whistle Down the Wind. All together there are a good twenty songs in the collection and pleanty of variety. The Cover title is Andrew Lloyd Webber Gold The definitive Hits Collection. ...This soundtrack, as well as the film, is absolute garbage. It's full of operatic rubbish that no one except for little old ladies and incredibly strange people would want to listen to. Andrew Lloyd Webber composed the musical Evita and you would only like the soundtrack if you a) like cheesy musicals, b) like Andrew Lloyd Webber, c) like operatic rubbish and d) are over the age of 40... overall I did not like this at all but it has all the music from the film on it... however I still cannot find myself to actually like it, so forget about it!... ...or wherever I am What one is it? Ai Giochi addio (Our Tune) From Romeo and Juliet. It is just about to play, light flute, sweet and gently played then ohh! He has such a wonderful deep voice, shivers- what a magnificent voice. 9. I adore the next track and would possibly want this played at my funeral. Time to say goodbye by Sarah Brightman. I think sometimes we just never do have time to say goodbye and to me this would be my goodbye. 10. Mmm! Nessun dorma - The Three Tenors - Carreras/Domingo/Pavarotti Mind breaking music, so beautifully and perfectly sung. I would have loved to have seen these in concert. 11. Andrew Lloyd Webber: Variations by Julian Lloyd Webber - if you have ever seen the Southbank Show you will know the music.
