Review of Kid Rock [PA] - Kid Rock by sponge90sponge

Advantages: rock n roll tracks
Disadvantages: takes a while to get into

...I've been a huge Kid Rock fan for years. Completely different from Kid Rocks debut album (grit sandwich for breakfast). Rock's sound has changed a lot and if you haven't heard Cocky then you will find this album a shock. The album is more country rock n roll than hip-hop. It took me a few listens to really get into it but now I love it. it has a country rock n roll sound, more so than Cocky, but there are still a few tracks more like History of Rock and Devil without a Cause tracks with the Kid Rock sound I have love. Kid Rocks music has certainly developed to a deeper artist. A well balanced album, it shows the one and only Kid Rock's true musical talent and I highly recommend it.... Read review

Rocks!
Review of Original 90s Dance Selection - Various Artists by iwannarock

Advantages: Good old dance tracks! Bringing back Old memories!
Disadvantages: Too commercial in some points!

...Wow this is neat. Ive always "digged" electronic music, since my uncle gave me an MC-303, but forget about that. All right, this CD is packed with all that good old school electronic "rock n roll" we all now. Maybe some of the tracks are a bit TOO commercial, like phats and small, and Wildchild, but really. We all miss these old classics, and this cd is actually awsome! You will sit back with tears in your eyes and remember some of your first moments when you fell a little in love, with dance music. Cause thats what this is all about. Its dance, and its old school - but it really doesnt matter cause every track on this cd rocks. I can only recommend this CD - i personally think its awsome!... Walk the Line - the music
Review of Walk The Line [ECD] - Various Artists by NewYork2006

Advantages: Great foot tapping sing-along tracks
Disadvantages: /

.... A great start to the cd (and to the film) and one to get singing along to. 2. I Walk the Line - again sung by Phoenix. This is a much slower song but one of Cash's most famous which may be why the film was named after it. 3. Wildwood Flower - Reese Witherspoon. A beautiful song, slow and great to just sit and relax to. 4. Lewis Boogie - Waylon Malloy Payne. Another great one to dance to, has Rock 'n' Roll vibes to it as well as country. 5. Ring of Fire - Phoenix. This one is one of my favourite Cash songs and I think Phoenix does it justice. Another slow one but still great! 6. You're my Baby - Johnathan Rice. I havent heard of this song before but it is another great Rock 'n' Roll style song. 7. Cry Cry Cry - Phoenix. Definately a foot tapper. 8. Folsom Prison Blues - Phoenix. This was the first ever Johnny Cash song that I ever... Read review
