...Therion are an excelent band i love them and have most of their albums including vovin, deggial, crowin of atlantis but i think secret of the runes is their best. If you havnt heard them before i think the only way to describe them is opera rock / metal, they have an orcestra, violins, guitars and quite a few diferent singers so you wont get bored with the same vioce. a couple of the songs have this funky singer where they do a sher like effect on him sounds awsome "sand man". if you like this try searching for: epica nightwish lacuna coil apcolyptica and within temptation they are similar to therion all operatic rock / metal but original in their own ways and just as good... Advantages: great lyrics
Disadvantages: a bit slow for most

...The Boy with the Arab Strap is the Belle & Sebastian album famous for winning a Brit over the like of 5ive in the best newcomers award, it did this by it’s fan dedication and use of e-mail votes. It was in all respects a RESULT and just reward for what is an excellent album. The main feel is melanchonic, but there is incisive satire all across the album. The second half of the album dives more into electonica with a space boy dream, but overall the album is pure folk, stories in songs.... Read review
