Advantages: Easy to listen to Songs Disadvantages: CD2 a bit poor
...Mortimer use to welcome in Donald Cox the Sweaty Fox. Anyone who doesn’t know Shooting Stars must think I’ve gone round the twist. “Fox on the Run” made it to No.5 on its release in 1969.
The Final Song released under the ManfredMann mantle was “Ragamuffin Mann” and it reached No.8 in the charts. The B-Side was used in an advert for cigars.
The 2nd CD is mostly made up of songs by ManfredMann’s Earth Band. Although there are some less recognisable tunes they are still good in their own right.
“Blinded by the Light” is a worthy song, as is “Davys on the Road Again”, both are lyrically clever. Add to this Mike D`abos “Handbags and Gladrags” and an acceptable version of “Nothing Ever Happens” and you have a Best of double CD set that you’ll play over and over again....

"Blinded By The Light"
Thankfully not the ManfredMann's Earthband song but it could easily have been. It is a cacophony of pure rock and roll brilliance.
"Fiends & Frankenstein’s"
off we go into a mid tempo boogie but not in the bad evil Status Quo sense, which makes it good...........
"On The Line"
Anyone here like Lynerd Skinnerd then this is the one on this EP for you. A great piece of southern rock from Sweden.
If you like anything from the Ramones to AC/DC then this is definitely for you, it is simply great songs done in a tried and trusted Rock and Roll fashion, but when the energy flows as naturally as this who needs poncy arrangements or anything poncy, this is rock and roll best played loud with a bottle of good bourbon in a smoky sweaty backroom of a dodgy dive full of dodgy punters in a dodgy part...

Advantages: Great selection of tracks. Disadvantages: Its not long enough.
...It is a 3 disc compilation album with a total of 55 classic hits from the 60's.
Each disc starts with one of the introductory riffs from radio caroline a different one on each disc, also known as jingles.
Each disc case and disc has a picture of the actual boat the radio station was broadcast from. There is a guide booklet included tracing the history of the station with a round up of a fe of the famous DJ's from the period such as Johnnie Walker, Tony Blackburn and Simon Dee.
Some of the featured artists are Status Quo, Sandie Shaw and ManfredMann with classic tracks such as Pictures of Matchstick Men, There's always something to remind me and Pretty Flamingo.
CD one has 18 tracks, CD two has 18 tracks and CD three has 19 tracks.
