A's B's And EP's (Mono) - Gerry & The Pacemakers

Advantages: Pure listening pleasure for Gerry Marsden fans.
Disadvantages: The only disadvantage is the Cilla Black track

...This is a must for Gerry and The Pacemakers fans. Pure listening pleasure. Gerry Marsden, the lead singer was in the sixties and is still a fantastic vocalist, he can have you up off your seat dancing with 'Shot of Rythm and Blues' and 'Jambalaya' and then completely slow down the mood with classic tracks such as 'Ferry Cross the Mersey' and 'You'll Never Walk Alone' the ultimate football anthem (especially if you, like I am a fanatical Liverpool fan) There are 26 tracks to listen to both upbeat and slow I could not find any fault with this DVD except perhaps for the fact that two tracks did not feature Gerry but one featured the Fourmost, which was quite good but the other track Cilla Black, well it depends on your point of view but for me this track ruins the whole thing, (no offence Cilla) but you were at your best on Blind... Advantages: good mixture of songs from diffrent years
Disadvantages: a couple of annoying songs id rather not hear

...I was quite impressed with this compilation very good value for money as it has a 40 songs that are a good mixture of r'n'b hip hop and some soul songs from various years, from salt and pepper to kanye west there is sure to be tracks on here that you will love and may i add quite a few number ones and other huge hits, The cd itself is easy listening with some up tempo songs that will have you dancing and singing and also some slow songs to wind down and relax to, its also a double album so you wont be short of songs to play all in all id recomend it if you like r'n'b, its deffinatly a cd you need in your collection, I bought this on ebay for a pocket friendly £7 but it is also available at Amazon, Hmv, Tesco and many more online stores the cheapest i have seen is for £12.75 from Cd Wow enjoy :) The track listing are as follows... Advantages: Songs are unique
Disadvantages: Some songs are on the album, and it also seems a little short

...When i first put this CD into my player, I immediately loved it. From the cover of Pink Floyd's Fearless to the demo version of Sugar Pill. All the songs on this EP are amazing, and they all sound unique and imaginitive for a band of this genre. The band have some similarities to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, although I do actually prefer Ambulance Ltd. Stand out songs include: Sugar Pill, Straight A's and, New English I never usually listen to bands of this genre as I find them depressing and voring, however Ambulance Ltd are one of the exceptions as they make though provoking music which doesn't leave you in floods of tears. The only disadvantage I can think of for this EP is that there aren't enough songs on it. Although that would then defeat the point of it being an EP. This EP is most definately worth the money...
