When I first heard Aaliyah’s hit, 'Try Again', I couldn't wait to get my hands on this, her 3rd album. It's a more mature album and shows off her fantastic voice even better than before. 'One in a Million' was a great album but the variety on this is better, eg, r'n'b tracks like 'We need a Resolution' and 'Try Again', ballads like 'I care 4 U' and even rock tracks like 'What If' and 'I can be'. Aaliyah herself said that this was her most personal album but I find this hard to believe, all the tracks on the album are written by someone else. All in all it’s a good album, a good mix of tracks and some of her most successful songs. The five videos you get with this make it a definite bargain for anyone that doesn't have the original 2004 release and the Aaliyah fans who have the original will find it different enough to buy again. Aaliyah sadly died on the 25th August 2001 in a plane crash, she lives on however in the music she gave to us, rest in peace.
