Advantages: Good solos, Mustaine's voice is as strong as ever. Disadvantages: Too many simple songs, overly political and religious lyrical content.
...After several awards and some famous groundbreaking albums megadeths 11th studio album united abominations is released. After the impressive the system has failed, with technical riffs, and solos it would be hard to beat it in terms of quality and originality.
Stand Out Tracks for good and bad reasons:
Sleepwalker - a song where the vocals are the strong point, the riffs are simple but the lyrics are interesting, and its quite clear Mustaine's lyrical skills have improved as he has progressed with Megadeth. The song sleepwalker is a good opener and at almost 5 and half minutes it keeps the listener engaged with vocal layering, a catchy main riff with a memorable solo.
Washington is next - This is personally my favourite track off the megadeth album, where I feel Mustaine is most focused, the opening riff gets your attention...

Advantages: Two or three unique Maiden classics Disadvantages: Weaker tracks are atrocious!
...Well, well, well. This is, by far, Maiden's worst album in the Bruce Dickinson era. Nothing short of a disaster, but a thoroughly interesting chapter in the Maiden book of history.

Except the expectation of following up a near-flawless concept album that spawned universal praise and four top-ten singles that is.
Finally, after four classic albums together, the 'dream team' was broken up, with now-flourishing songwriter Adrian Smith leaving the band to...

Advantages: It has every Maiden classic you can think of! Disadvantages: A few tracks which really shouldn't be on there.
...Back in the days I was just getting into metal, I desperately needed one big album which was more heavy metal than a lead elephant.
The ablum that fulfilled my dreams was Iron Maiden's Best Of The Beast. Tracks have been ripped from the very albums they first appeared on, to this fantastic compilation of Maiden's best eddie tunes. I refer to Eddie of course as a half human, half underworld creature who has taken many forms as Iron Maiden's mascot. This includes a WW1 fighter pilot from the cover of "Aces High", a huge god like egyptian statue guarding the pyramids on "Powerslave" and Eddie can also been seen on Maiden's most famous Album "The Number Of The Beast" playing with Satan like a puppet.
Virus: This is an unsual starter to the Album. This could be because it was never on any other albums. Blaze Bayley was around when...
