...INCUBUS are a five piece American alternative rock band who formed over 15 years ago as teenagers. The band are self made and over the years have had a few shifts of members, yet the bulk of the group has always remained the same. On this, their third studio album, the stunning Brandon Boyd lends his voice to the vocals, with the amazingly talented Mike Einziger on lead guitar, Jose Pasillas on drums, Dirk Lance on bass and DJ Chris Kilmore on decks. Advantages: Some Solid Tracks, Lopez Has Improved
Disadvantages: Bits of Filler, Some Slow Bits

...memorable, but it has a certain dog eared charm, a kind of shabby energy that makes it a refreshing change of pace for the Latin lovely. Brave sees Lopez ditching the 'I'm just like your friends, I'm from the Bronx, I'm a normal girl!' rubbish and shows that when she concentrates her passion she can create some crackers. Stay Together: This is probably the most dancey song on the CD; complete with sing along worthy chorus and a fresh, urban backing that keeps it ticking along nicely. The lyrics are some bogus about staying together but Lopez's smooth, foot stomping vocals are put to very good use (her styling's are particularly well suited to the fast pace and electro-funk melody) and the production is vast and professional. As I mentioned earlier both songs number 6 and 7 are very much the Jennifer Lopez we’re all used to as is number 13. Solid R’n’B, a good beat and a nice little rap in there somewhere. I think just about every other song on the album is a soppy love song, although some of them do have a really good back ground beat. Song number 2, ‘Loving you’ is good example of this. It is one of the few that wasn’t written/co-written by J. Lo. Although it is a love song, and the lyrics are very heart felt, it has a beat that just makes you want to bob your head and tap your foot.
