Absolute Euphoria is another Euphoria album that was released. This title is mixed by Dave Pearce.

ABOUT DAVE PEARCE

Dave Pearce presents Dance Anthems on Radio 1 on Sunday nights. He is big in mixing essential dance tunes on that night and is one of the most popular shows on Radio 1 at weekends. Dave Pearce has mixed a few other Euphoria albums as well as this one. He has mixed True Euphoria, Total Euphoria, Ibiza Euphoria Vol. 3 & 4, and Transcendental Euphoria. These are all great ablums that he has mixed.

THE TRACKLISTING:

Disc 1:

1) Moby - First Cool Hive
Any opening of an album is important and this album starts off with the correct note. Taken from Moby's 1997 album "I Like To Score", it uses a break-beat track to start the set in a powerful way to set the mood. As always, Moby has a well orchestrated chord progression in this track.

2) Jakatta - So Lonely (Photek Remix)
This is an unreleased mix. After the success of the track "American Dream", the remix of So lonely takes it on more of a journey. The build is subtle and hypnotic and also well thought out. It uses elements from the original version of the track to create more euphoric vibes.

3) X-Press 2 - Lazy (Norman Cook Mix)
This is one of my favourite mixes on this CD and you will know why. It's one of the best tracks made by X-Press 2 and was tipped to be the track of Winter Music Conference in Miami in 2002. A catchy tune which won't stop people singing to.

4) Weekend Players - Into The Sun (Riva Mix)
Another track that stands out. This is because of its unique vocals. A great fusion of funky house and melodic trance. Riva's mix of the track featured on the album is outstanding and I always skip back after the track finishes for more.

5) Kosheen - Catch (Hiver & Hammer Remix)
A great mix by Hiver & Hammer. They ar e getting bigger all the time!

6) Liquid State feat. Marcella Woods - Falling (Solar Stone Remix)
Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto label have signed up Liquid State in 2002. This track has dreamy vocal trance and oozes class. Marcella Woods does vocals here and has worked for Matt Darey and Michael Woods.

7) Solar Factor - No Return
A project from M.I.K.E. An excellnt tune with driving bass lines and unusual chord sequences. A good piece to build tension on any decks.

8) Riva - Who Do You Love Now? (Tall Paul Remix)
The original features Dannii Minogue who does the vocals. This is an instrumental remix of the track. Takes the track on a tougher journey. However, still uses elements that are familiar from the orginal. Fantastic tune to hear in clubs because not many have heard this mix.

9) Faithless - We Come 1 (Rollo & Sister Bliss Remix)
Faithless delivers another top notch tune for the mix and will be the moment of any clubber.

10) Marco V - Stimulated (Original Version)
One of the hottest producers around in Holland, Marco V is faultless with this track. Very simply produced and can't stop grinning when I hear this on the album.

11) DB Boulevard - Point Of View (Lange Remix)
The funky original is better known but this is another great mix which have been pulled off by Lange. The other remixes are not as good. A favourite.

12) Tillmann Uhrmacher - On The Run (Minimalistix Remix)
Excellent distortion on the guitar and driving bass makes this track exceptionally good.

13) CRW feat. Veronika - Like A Cat (Tillmann Uhrmacher Remix)
Never heard this before but I like it! More melodic this track. CRW is more known for the track "I Feel Love".

14) Systematic Parts feat. Autumn Leaves - Don't Walk Away (Instrumental Mix)
I haven't heard this before. However, it is originated in Europe. The tune is catchy and sticks in your head for a while.

15) Matt Darey's Mash up feat. Marcella Woods - Beautiful (Pulser Remix)
One of the all time favourite tracks is remixed and it is great! Marcella Woods provides the vocals on this track. Reminds me of my holiday in Ibiza earlier this year (September 2004).

16) Frank T.R.A.X. - Nebuchan (O.R.G.A.N. Mix)
The final track on the first CD, this is an euphoric track.

Disc 2:

1) Sarah McLachlan - Sweet Surrender (DJ Tiesto Mix)
Sarah McLachlan is known more as being the vocalist on Delerium's "Silence". This track does capture the imagination in it's introduction. It amazingly stays at the same level and also takes you somewhere completely different. Listen with you eyes shut!

2) Phreaq - Falling (Kuba Remix)
A very crisp production and the vocals are dreamy and ethereal. This takes clubbing to a new level.

3) 29 Palms - Touch The Sky
A pre-summer track and incorporates different styles which creates a unique tune. The melody from the piano is infectious.

4) Jam & Spoon feat. Rea (Hiver & Hammer Remix)
Hiver & Hammer produces another fine remix. One of the memorable moments that can be had in the clubbing scene.

5) IIO - Rapture (Armin Van Buuren Remix)
It's one of the rarest mixes found in the whole dance music industry. Listen to this with pleasure as this is one of the greatest mixes I've heard. The most euphoric track yet!

6) Love Inc. - Come On (It's Only Love) (Coast2coast Mix)
A great trancy version of a good track. Love Inc is more known for hits as "You're A Superstar" and "Broken Bones".

7) DJ Shog - This Is My Sound (Original Extended Mix)
One of the greats. Always hear this when I am listening to the album and makes me smile all the time. One of the Ibiza records.

8) PPK - Reload (Trailer Trash Mix)
Following up "Resurection" comes this great tune. Taking on the space theme again, it follows up from the previous hit and takes on a new tune with the added beeps instantly known from tthe hit.

9) Mauro Picotto - Pulsar (DJ Tiesto Mix)
A re-release means a remix of the best DJ, DJ Tiesto. And what a mix it is!

10) DJ Shredda - Chainsaw (The Crow Remix)
I only heard this recently after this was sent to me by a mate and what a great track it was, and I was even more impressed when I heard The Crow's mix. Wanna scare your neighbours? Turn the volume up full blast!! An essential tune!

11) Sonz Of The Loop Da Loop Era - Far Out (3 Jays Remix)
Uses full effect of the original successfully. Riffs on here are infectious and leaves me hair standing on end!

12) Agnelli & Nelson - Everyday 2002 (Alex Gold Mix)
A timeless anthem remixed for 2002.

13) The Traveller & In Motion - Believe (Minimalistix Vox Club Mix)
Huge respect to Minimalistix for providing great mixes to any tune that they mix. This one is no exception. The trademark piano and poly-octave riffs make this a winner in my books.

14) Dreamcatcher - I Don't Wanna Lose My Way (Niels Van Gogh Remix)
Heard the original on Now 51 and to be honest, I love this mix better! Euphoric and well vocalised.

15) Ian Van Dahl - Reason (Hemstock & Jennings Remix)
What we do without Ian Van Dahl on the clubbing scene? Wouldn't be the same would it? Another great track. One of the greatest mixes by Hemstock & Jennings too.

So the album rocks like every other Euphoria album around but this has to be the best yet under Dave Pearce's albums. Another great CD to add to your collection for those who love dance music.
