WOW!!! What can i say my fave band followed them for 5 years from the begining and this is the finnest peice of work iv'e ever heard, the mix of heavy rock to more clasical songs is amazing. Songs like Stockholm Syndrome which is a heavy rock song with an amazing riff has a chourus with a classical piano running through in the background it just sounds so good. Another track and my personel fave is Butterflies and Hurricanes starts off with a build of bass and keys with the gradual introduction of Matts amazing voice and then drums hitting harder then an explosion of everything then into the powerfull verse. This song also has the most amazing piano solo i've ever heard in a rock song its simply amazing. In my view their isn't a weak track on the album but if i was to pick a weak track if would have to be Falling away with you, its different but its good. This is deffinatly muses best peice of work today and deffinatly one of the albums of the century. Its that good, if you don't have it go buy it, even if you don't like Muse, you will be blown away by this.

Advantages: This album shows the bands ability to adapt to different styles, and does not stray far from Muse' darker and crooning original style. Disadvantages: This Album dosen't show the bands full potential, and is a very dark and depressive album, in comparison to Black Holes and Revelations, which is more upbeat, and bright.
