Let me start by saying that i am a mahoosive MUSE fan and i really wanted to go to see them at glastonbury as i just knew it would be an amazing gig. So i took the less hassle option of waiting for this DVD to be released after the concert!
Muse have been around since 1996 and from then on they have wowwed audiences all around the world and have been officially labelled as "the best band live" which i would 100% agree with after seeing them perform. The band concicts of Matthew Bellamy on Vocals, Guitar and piano - Dominic Howard on drums and Chris wolstenholme on Bass and vocals and piano for the odd song too. The band play what i would call 'Progressive Rock' the band manage to create a huge amount of sound despite only have three members who are constantly trying new things in music, which is why there songs never die down as they produce more songs and albums.
The first thing i noticed from looking at the DVD is that some of the tracks performed at glastonbury had been removed from the DVD for some reason or another...... cant remember which ones exactly now but im sure Citizen Erased was one of the missing tracks, which kind of took the point out of watching the DVD instead of the concert. Despite a few bits missing from the glastonbury footage, the footage from the concert on the DVD is amazing and has been very well produced.
I must also mention about the extras on the DVD, these include footage taken from other concerts from around the world including USA and the Earls Court concert in london which im very gald to say i went o and it was the most spectacular show i have ever seen in my life!! The footage of these gigs are also of brilliant quality and again have been very well produced.
Overall, i would reccomend this DVD to every MUSE fan whether you big a big fan or not and that the only letdown is that some of the tracks are missing from the Glastonbury concert but this doesnt bring the rest of the DVD down with it.
Highly Reccomended !!

Advantages: Fantastic singles, introduction of classical elements and orchestras Disadvantages: A couple of weaker tracks - but made up for by the rest of the album
