Advantages: sweet love songs with great words Disadvantages: a little too sloppy for some maybe?
...One of her best albums so far with great tracks like Hero, Without You that are extremely powerful and excellent songs.. she has so much emotion in her voice and you know she is realy feeling what she is singing.
A smooth, sweet and very soulful voice, outstandilngly talented all of the tracks are good or excellent accept for maybe one or two that are a bit jumpy and too gospel for me.
She has a very unique voice and one that you recognise straight away, she has amazing natural talent and delivers excellent feel good music in this album
Lots of inspiring lyrics that most of us can relate too..Vocally a very impressive album as with most of Mariah Careys work.
Definately worth buying and adding to your cd collection. Very Good....

Average hypemare Review ofFavourite Worst Nightmare - Arctic Monkeysby
iamasadlittleboy
Advantages: The last 3 songs Disadvantages: Everything else is average
...inlay booklet with pointless and irrelavant pictures and the only details are on the back of the book. A song list (also found on the case) and credit as well as the words "Thank you"...but not addressed at anyone (no "Thank you for following us" or anything like that).

...And here I get onto the actual review of the CD. The opening track, and first (and current) single from the album, "Brianstorm" opens the nightmare (still prefer hypemare myself). Opening like a trainwreck of a drum carrying freitghtrain and a guitar carrying one. The singing when it comes in is acceptable, but not upto the standards of much of the original album the lyrics...

Consolidation Review ofTonic For The Troops, A [Remastered] - Boomtown Ratsby
dave27
Advantages: Good songs Disadvantages: Caught between punk and r&b

They were always the acceptable face of punk rock and quickly seemed to become the court jesters of punk rock, mainly due to the pyjama clad keyboardist Johnny Fingers and the diminutive bassist Pete Briquette.
The album remained in the UK charts for 44 weeks and peaked at number 8. During the same period, they had their first number one single in Rat Trap. The set saw them distance themselves from the worst excesses of orthodox hard core punk and establish themselves as gifted purveyors of an exciting mix of rock, pop and r&b.
In many ways, that was both...
