...The Automatic: A Cardiff based four-piece student band who have been riding the tidal wave of success since the release of their single "Monster" in 2006. The band, who formed loosely at the age of twelve, and after some re-grouping, became The Automatic, released their debut single in 2005. "Recover" is virtually unheard of due to the fact only 1500 copies were ever produced and didn't even give the band a stepping-stone towards chart success. Their second single "Raoul" released in 2006 went to number 32 but faced the same dismal incompetence as the first.
The band's chart debutting track, "Monster" propelled them into the charts, and parted the sea of obscurity for the band. Their album "Not Accepted Anywhere" was released in June 2006, on the back of the success of "Monster" and the band have been riding high ever since.

Advantages: v. eclectic Disadvantages: getting on a bit now
...Allsaints mix RnB and pop and they do it very well!
if you like there new stuff youll love yhere old stuff
all the best tracks were released but thats not to say the other tracks werent good they were in fact they were great.
Normally im not a fan of this type of music but here is my acception Ive had it for about 2 years and still havent actually gone off it,
It has a mix a tearjerkers upbeat andcover songs including the cover of the already brill song under the bridge previously by the red hot chilli peppers!
definitely one for the collection and if you dont wanna buy it coz youve heard all the tracks get the new one its bound to be a smash!...

Advantages: you don't have to buy it Disadvantages: the songs
...That the Get Up Kids chose to follow up the stunning 'Four Minute Mile' LP with this collection of dross is unforgivable, but seeing as it's been a few years now, I guess we'll have to accept the fact that it marked the down turn in a once promising career. 'Four Minute Mile' was a collection of essential emo-pop tracks, full of energy, passion and fun, whilst this record sees the Get Up Kids fall back on to dreary pop and lifeless rock. There are moments, 10 Minutes is mostly good, but when you hear the re-recorded "I'm A Loner Dottie" track, you'll shudder if you ever heard the original.
Sadly, the Get Up Kids got even worse (shudder!) after this CD, and quickly became a footnote in a genre. A shame....
