Advantages: At times a very funny, teen comedy Disadvantages: Plot sort of runs out after a while
This review is on a film, which I must say ive seen about a dozen times now, each time I watch it I find myself enjoying it, as if ive seen it for the first time. I'm reviewing the 2006, teenage comedy "Accepted", starring Justin Long (die hard 4), and Blake Lively (Gossip Girl).
This universal comedy is one, that it enjoyable to watch, yet at times also relatable to so many teenagers out there. They use the themes of acceptance by parents and society and turn it into a comical soap opera.

Advantages: Something for the teens Disadvantages: Sometimes a but unrealistic
Imagine a world with no adults. Adults in todays world keep law and order, bring us up, teach us, etc etc but what would happen if everyone over the age of 18 died.
Well that is what the tribe on channel 5 is all about. The adults all died in a virus leaving everyone 18 and under to defend for themselves in a new world
The tribe has now finished it's 4th series and series 5 is coming soon pointing out that The Tribe is a very popular series around the globe.

People are used as slaves, there is a lack of food and it's just war all the time. War to take control over the city and be leader reflecting on what would possibly happen if all the adults did die out. There are no schools any ...
Advantages: Good premise, clever ending Disadvantages: Too similar to other films
can work because the plotline is so strong and they manage to reign in a wide spectrum of viewers unfortunately Urban Legend tries to be too clever for it?s own good which is why films like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer work, they?re simple but highly effective.
The story of this film I feel is quite farfetched and again is another chink in the armour for the production team, I feel that if this was just a simple run-of-the-mill teen slasher film it would have worked a lot better. I admire them for trying to do something different and it is a relatively entertaining film unfortunately it just doesn?t quite hit the mark that Wes Craven managed to hit with his monster cult classic Scream.
I?m a big fan of teen horrors and I feel they?ve come a long way over the years, since 1997 which was when Urban Legends was released ...
