Advantages: Voice, Lyrics Disadvantages: A bit inconcistant aftet the interlude
...isnt one of the best on the album as it doesnt have that spark that the best on Acoustic Soul do.
13.) Part of My Life" - 4:03
This is a song with Anthony David who I saw supporting Boyz II Men in Birmingham this year. This has a nice feel to it and is one of the better tracks on the second half of the album. very nicely done.
14.) Beautiful" - 4:05
I love this track. It starts with soft guitar and a drum beat and the develops with India's vocals. This is a lovely ballad which has a relaxing feel. get a nice cold drink, put your feet up and listen to this relaxing track.
15.) Outro" - 1:20
This is a thank you to her family, It is a nice touching addition to the album and is something that works rather well with a nice soft acoustic guitar.

Advantages: Wide range of music; some truly great tracks; consistently high quality Disadvantages: Very few, perhaps only that it is very slighty shorter than previous albums
...After a somewhat shaky start with his first three albums, David Gray Finally hit it big with the self financed White Ladder in '98, but many were asking whether he could ever emulate such a performance again. A New Day at Midnight, David's follow up album certainly made a good attempt, but it is only with the release of Life In Slow Motion that David Gray has truly cemented his 8 year move from acoustic obscurity to a true musical star.
From the moment Life in Slow Motion begins, you know that the album's going to be a good'un - the opening, faint, tinkling notes of the first track 'Alibi' slowly fade to silence before an explosion of the unique vocal stylings of Gray. This is followed by 'The One I Love', the first single released from the album and by far one of David's best ever songs. Its catchy tune, powerful voice...

Advantages: amazing compilation of songs Disadvantages: a few not to my taste, only a bare amount
...A wonderful collection of purely acoustic songs. Inlucding the likes of James Blunt, David Gray, Maroon 5, Eva Cassidy, Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley and many more.
Included in the album are two seperate cds, each as good as each other i especially like the fact there are 19 tracks to each cd which brings the total number of tracks to 38.
The only downside could be that there were a few songs that i didnt recognise but have grown to like through various listens.
An amazing compilation of tracks including information on various artists albums whose tracks are includded on the cd.
I would definitely recoommend this album as it had enhanced some very nice emotions and created a very calmly atmosphere for either daytime or before you hit the hay.
A stunning collection of today's finest singer songwriters!...
