Acoustically Yours - China Crisis

Advantages: Perfect mix of melodic and harsh vocals, great lyrics, great musically

...the bridge of the song where it goes to a bit of a post rock sound with the repeated lyrics of "Strike a match and burn away, every tie that binds me to this place" sung with the melodic vocals of Dallas, before heading back into the chorus of the song. Fourth song on the cd is "Boiled Frogs" which much like the previous songs is upbeat and has a catchy chorus. Four songs in and the cd is getting better as it goes on. "We Are The Sound" is another fast song and keeps up the energy that the previous 4 songs delivered, and lyrically probably one of the best songs on the cd. ...Green Day are a very famous band to all large music fans. Most of their music is Punk Rock or Grunge but this steps out of line for the better. It starts off with a brilliant sounding guitar playing a chord slowly twice. Then the song really gets going and features a simple acoustic guitar riff and a set of chords that is very easy to play. It includes sets of string instruments and a vocalist that all mixes together very well. Most of Green Day's songs I like and when I saw this I knew that I had to get it. I loved the great sound straight from the start until the end when I decided to put the CD on repeat. Any fan of acoustical music should buy this.
