...Eve 6 are an american band that i know almost nothing about! i have just heard all of their latest album (horrorscope)and its pretty damn good! I heard one of their tracks a while back and it was nothing special! Along with many bands they are evolving with the current music scene. they are loosing that heavy grunge rock edge and producing more commercial sounds! Check out this album and this band cos they may never make it in the UK market thats pre-occupied by Ms B. Spears and crappy boy bands! heres your chance for decent music!... Read review

Advantages: You get a good range of Tracks, and some great interludes(skits)
Disadvantages: Not any that stick out

...When I first go this album I just listened to the two tracks that I knew. But when I put the album on from start to finish it was great. Some tracks have the hard-up gangsta feel, the other ones just simple and good. When you listen to the tracks you feel eveyword that is said,and that every song has a certain feel to it. The Album has great collaborations with other artists, such as DMX, Da Brat and Drag-On. My oppion is that this album is everything you would hope to see from Eve, the meaninful songs and the songs you just what to get down and jam to. If you liked her first album then you might think she could have done better then it will grow on you, and if this your first intro duction to Eve you'll become a fan.... Read review

...I first bought this album when I heard the single 'Gotta Man'. It had a really cool vibe to it and I immediately got the album. I'm glad I did, it's one of the best albums that I have. ALso included on the CD 'Ruff Ryders First Lady' are some of the singles released in the States 'Love Is Blind' and the bonus track 'Got It All'. Apart from these though, there are many other songs which could easily have been released as singles, featuring artists such as DMX, Swizz Beats and Beanie Seagal. The album has 19 tracks on it, including interludes and the quality of it is excellent. Unlike many other female rap artists, Eve tries to set a good example for young girls and women by teaching them to be independent and telling them not to be some chickenhead who chases a man for his cash.
