Freeland's latest project turned into an On Tour concept when he started to blend in the crowd reactions he's been recording from various gigs he's played over the last few months. Although it wasn't an official "tour" as such, Freeland spent no less than six months away from his home earlier this year to spread the breakbeat love from America to Australia. On the surface, On Tour might simply be a mix album with crowd noise added on, but the extra sounds do add some alternative ambience. Extra points go to the DJ for not ending and beginning every single track with egotistical evidence of his popularity; rather Adam has kept the sounds quite low in the mix save for the first and last tracks on the LP. Sandwiched between these raucous uproars, we get a snapshot of the kind of funky-ass breaks the man has been laying down of late. Fluke, fellow Brighton beatniks Pressure Drop, Marine Parade stalwart Ils, Bushwacka!, Bassbin Twins and Uberzone all provide tasty flavours for this endlessly rump-shaking journey through all kinds of top notch breaks. After this, you may never go back to four to the floor music again. --Paul Sullivan

Advantages: Some excellent rock ballads are present on this album. Powerful vocals throughout. Disadvantages: Bryan Adams has recorded better albums than this.
...reminds me more of an Oasis release than a typical Bryan Adams number. It provides the perfect closure for the album, and whilst I listen to the track I can just imagine a sold out arena audience singing along at the tops of their voices to this one as it is played as an encore. It's a real crowd pleaser, Bryan Adams belts out the vocals for one final blast of musical excellence. He certainly saved the best till last here, much of the track sounds very Oasis and yet there is also the odd element of Chris Cornell thrown in also. Ultimately it's a Bryan Adams song, and yet all the best elements of variousartists and bands seem to be chucked in to the mix as well. Bryan Adams may not be one of my favourite artists in the world, but if every track he ever recorded was as good as this one then he certainly would be.
This may be Bryan Adams...

Advantages: Many different types of rock and fantstic artists - the best of 2006 and 2007 Disadvantages: Could have more hardrock artists in and and second CD hasn't as much good artists in
...A fantastic CD with lot's of different kinds of rock. The best bands of 2006 and 2007 put in one CD. Artists like Snow Patrol, Razorlight, The Fratellies, The Arctic Monkeys, Automatic, The Ordinary Boys, The Killers, Keane, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks and the list goes on. Has two CD's and has 40 tracks, 20 on each CD. Has new up coming artist such as Wolfmother. has many artists winners from the Brits: The Killers who won best national CD and best national band, The Arctic Monkeys won best British CD and best British band. The Fratellis won an award too and many more Brit award winning artists. A fantastic purchase well worth its money. A great buy. I recommend definitely to people anywhere between 8 and 100 if they enjoy that kind of music. It even has some live performing artists such as 'The Arctic Monkeys' on tour...

Advantages: Well produced and well presented. Disadvantages: Not enough
...Although this musical has yet to have it's British Premiere, this is definitely a theatre goers must have. An excellent recording with some inspired collaborative work from Elton John and Tim Rice.
Excellent characterisations from Adam Pascal And Sherie Rene Scott not to mention some equally talented vocalists.
This is the latest Off Broadway production staged in conjuction with Disney and demonstrates the skill of weaving an old story with a modern opening and bringing a whole new perspective the the world of musical theatre.
I watched this show in America and am still waiting for the London version but in the meantime this cd holds a lot of wonderful melodies, some haunting, some amusing but altogether they make up a complete package and demonstrate the power of love and the differences of race....
