Advantages: Talented songwriter with skills and a great voice Disadvantages: Bit long?
...to be my favourite of all his albums.
Adams describes it as him trying to recreate an oldies station in his own work. I think he downplays the work and originality
evident in this album, but it definitely has that classic rock feel, as it bounces through the shimmery 'New York, New York' and the Stones-y 'Gonna make you love me'. 'Firecracker' boasts a mean harmonica, while 'Tina Toledo' goes all bluesy on you. There are also the haunting ballads that Adams' breaking falsetto seems built for, such as 'When the stars go blue'. Mixing in gospel and country flavours, this album is a work of thought and breadth that you rarely see in pop. And no one can do 'follow-me-into-depression' music better than Ryan. The ultimate song for that is 'La Cienega just smiled'. So simple, achingly beautiful. 'How could I know I'd feel so bad...

Advantages: A few really good tracks, some De La Soul tunes you have never heard before Disadvantages: The album has no flow, a few weak remixes

Advantages: A wonderful lyric based song Disadvantages: most of the other songs on the album are crap
..."I never conquered, rarely came, tommorow holds such better days, days when i just feel alive, and i cant wait to get outside"
Thats just part of the chorus of this masterpiece from Blink 182!
Adam's song is a very sad song which is Track 7 on Enema of the State, an Album which saw Blink 182 come into the world as a very popular pop rock band.
This song is the best song on the Album along with Going Away To College and a few others in this pop infested album.
Adam's song is about a boy called Adam (naturally) who's teenage life is going wrong and everything is just a mess after he's split up with his girlfriend and he's contemplating suicide.
The video for this song is pretty cool as it shows Blink 182 performing infront of a board full of pictures of happy memories with the camera zooming in on them and playing...
