...C'est en Septembre 2000, que six musiciens, provenant de diverses formations métal de la région Rhône-Alpes (Swarm, Season, Révérence, Neurotic Pain) se regroupent pour former Aquilon. A cette période, Aquilon se compose d'Alexandre (chant, clavier), Anne (chant, claviers), Christophe (guitare), Sébastien (guitare), Jérôme (basse) et de Jeremy (batterie). La musique d'Aquilon se caractérise alors par un subtil mélange d'agressivité et de mélodies. Pendant un an, le groupe donne alors différents concerts, partageant l'affiche avec divers groupes de renommée nationale tels que Agressor, Rain etc.… Durant l'année 2003, le répertoire du groupe s'étoffe et les dates de concert s'enchaînent, Festival Metal Attack, Nuclear Festival 8 aux cotés de Yattering, Gojira, Furia etc. Le MCD « Les ombres de quatre murs » produit professionnellement... Advantages: Brings back memories for husband
Disadvantages: Think drummer can only play one beat

...My husband snuck this into the trolly without me noticing so you can imagine my face when it came thorugh the checkout. I was dreading having to listen to it in the car whenever we went out but thankfully it isn't as bad as I expected and there are a lot of song which I do recognise. Advantages: The whole album is very good
Disadvantages: Lyrics in french !!!

...I invite you to discover what is to me the best album of the year 2000 from a french singer : “Marcher dans le sable” by Gérald De Palmas. If you like many other french singers like Jean-Jacques Goldman, you will recognize his style. Goldman brings his help to De Palmas for this third album, after a doubt period for this singer, in a song (the first single extracted from this album) : “J’en rêve encore”. You’ll find a bewitching music during the whole album which contains 12 tracks and about 45 minutes of music. Maxime Le Forestier, an other famous french singer (famous in France, perhaps in UK, I don’t know !!!), also brings his contribution in a track : “Tomber”. This album was nominated for the last “Victoires de la Musique”, the equivalent of your MTV Music Awards... Read review
