...moral fable for kids!! The music is usually performed by a full orchestra and the performance is recorded with a spoken narrative and the music playing either in the background or in the case of longer sections of music on its own. There have been many versions over the years, even one with David Bowie reading the narrative but the version I would like to bring to your attention now is a modern version that my daughter received for her birthday, and being 7 probably won’t appreciate it for another 20 years! This version is performed by Gavin Friday and the Friday-Seezer Ensemble. It comes in a beautiful Maroon coloured box and includes an audio CD and a Cloth bound book. The greatest thing for me about the book is the illustrations, they have been created by Bono from U2 with his daughters Eve and Jordan. The designs are very modern... Read review

Advantages: Brings back memories for husband

...My husband snuck this into the trolly without me noticing so you can imagine my face when it came thorugh the checkout. I was dreading having to listen to it in the car whenever we went out but thankfully it isn't as bad as I expected and there are a lot of song which I do recognise. Advantages: Original, good vibe, variety of styles, excellent songs

...This album was one of the first rap albums I bought. I was in Andy's Records and I noticed the album cover, and so decided to ask a store assistant to put the cd on one of the listening stations. From what I heard I was really impressed, so I decided to make the purchase, somewhat prematurely - but I'm quite spontaneous so ........ ********************************************** Album Details ********************************************** The album consists of 18 tracks, however 5/6 of these are skits/interludes, which is a bit annoying - they just seem to interupt everything when you're trying to listen to the music on the album... Eve works with other artists on the album, including Missy Elliot, DMX, The LOX, Drag-On, C.J and Beanie Siegal.... There are some excellent tracks on the album, that are sure to prove successful...
