Comparable with eighties rock chick Delores O’Riorden (Cranberries), Dido’s voice is sultry, husky and a little bit “cannot be bothered”-y. It’s a relaxing sound. It really doesn’t matter that the songs are a cut above the average. Nor does it matter that the CD has two of her videos as an added extra. (The outfit in “Here with me” does matter though!) ...Westlife are rubbish. Fact. There album is made up of covers of songs from yesturyear. Westlife have got it easy compared to other boy bands. They never do dance routines, they just sit on a high chair in white tuxedos and bang on their chests now and again. The cheeseyness of the ballards is nausiating. And not just little girls who go for this kind of pap. Grown women are buying this crud in there thousands. Blokes dont go crazy like this about girl bands. We don't stop what we're doing when atomic kitten come on the telly. West life fans are stupid.... Read review

...The Beautiful South have been around for years, originally being called the Housemartins and featuring Norman "Fatboy Slim" Cook. They have produced numerous albums over the years, and their singles are always VERY unique and original. The are never predictable, with songs such as "The Table", all about a table, "Perfect 10", about women's dress sizes, and "Dumb", about, well, dumb people! They also have agreat back catalogue of hits, such as "Good As Gold", "Rotterdam", "Dream A Little Dream". They have also made about five albums, all of which have been very successful....
