...This was Seals solo album, released in 1991. I'd only heard of him through the song "Killer", which was credited to Adamski, but the voice had me hooked. I rushed out and bought this without having heard anything else of his and I wasn't disappointed. We start with "The Beginning". Very much in the soul style of the early 90's, this is very danceable and with Seal's great voice and the work of ZTT in production, this is very slick. Grab yourself a bean bag for the second track "Deep Water" and just chill. On this song it's Seal's vocals that carry this rather than being reliant on any background music, but he does it so well. Again the production is sublime. This is another well known song on the album, "Crazy" which I remember getting masses of airplay when the Gulf War started. ...A T B or MR Andre Tanneberger is a legend. And here is why: He produced arguably the best dance record of all time, 9pm ( Till I come). Why is this so good? because it rocks, its was different origional and it first captured the dance scene and went off a storm in clubs and then once the radio had played it a few times it only charted at number one and was one of the buggest singles of the year, it was the 2nd biggest selling single of 1999. What an achievement, he then went on to have a no 3 hit with not so good follow ups, dont stop and a cover of adamski's killer. None the less the album movin melodies is a corker and good to listen to, while on the move! Hence the name.... Read review
