I'm an ASP.NET and PHP web developer on the side but most of the time I'm a mature Law student. My claim to fame? I sell a fair amount on eBay and have a 100% feedback rating. :-)

For those weaned on the two albums that 'made' Def Leppard (in the US at least), Pyromania and the multi-million selling Hysteria, Adrenalize was eagerly awaited and then just as eagerly forgotten.
It is probably the last 'typical' Def Leppard album but there seemed to be a large chunk of creativity missing. How much of this came from guitarist and primary song writer, Steve Clark's, untimely death I don't know but it delayed the album and it looks as though it was finally rushed out the door ... after all, it had been four years since Hysteria.
Adrenalize is a 'girly' album. And that's coming from someone who enjoyed Hysteria so much (the album changed my taste in music) that he listened to at least one song from it every day for five years!
It has numerous weak tracks. One of the weakest is without a doubt "Make love like a man." The entire song is virtually played out using just three power chords.
One song that is fun and true Def Leppard along the lines of the infamous "Pour Some Sugar on Me", is the opening song ... "Let's Get Rocked." There is also a sad little tribute to Steve Clark, "White Lightning" which isn't bad and a very nice ballad, "Have you ever needed someone so bad." But again, it's a relatively simple song.
The rest of the material, however, is pretty forgettable. I bought it on tape several years ago. I don't know where the tape is now and, to be honest, I don't care.
