This is possibly my favourite Def Leppard album of all time. It is definately one of the most forgotten albums, only remembered for 'Let's Get Rocked' but it really contains more than that. This was the album compiled just after Steve Clarks death and really had sentimental vaulue to the band. Steve was one of the main contributors to the songs on the album and the album was put out in memory of his creative genius. The inlay of the album has a few pages dedicated to him that shows them probably at their most vulnerable time, looking back on all the times when they should have seen the destruction going on behind the mans eyes. But it was definately never easy. My heart goes out to the band, for coping so well with such a terrible happening. Def Leppard have really had the worst things thrown at them, but always turned them into a life experience, and helped it make them stronger. Anyway, back to the songs! Obviously, the album would start with a complete tune, that being, 'Let's Get Rocked'. Probably the favourite song of every person that's ever listened to the album, simply because it is perfect to sing to the band when at their gigs. Another cracker is, 'White Lightening', The song for Steve, 'You try to stop but you can't say no.' For anyone that read into the lyrics it was really quite a powerful song, that's why I love it. It's a true talent to show such emotion through a song. All the other songs are truely awesome too, I couldn't name one fault because in my eyes, music DOESN'T get better than this.
