The first track has become an anthem for fans of the Norwegian metallers. The apocalyptic lyrics and blast beats, as well as Destructhors impressively lightning-fast yet precise guitar work all compete for ... ...of a musical landscape than the songs of Emperor (which share members with Zyklon, and Myrkskog) and has more of a death metal than a black metal feel to it. Trym as a drummer, it could be argued, is the fastest and most innovative. Whilst songs such as "Core Solution" and "Subtle Manipulation" primarily roar death metal at you, the guitar harmonies add a black metal feel to the piece- there is no mistaking Samoth.
