Brandys album Afrodisiac debuted at #3 on the bill board 200.
I've loved Brandy ever since she played Moesha before her music career. Back then she was a great actor and was so funny and talented and still is to this day, except shes more grown up.
Even in her 'moesha' show she would sing and her voice sounded angelic, her theme tune to moesha was sang by her. Brandy's voice is definately rangefull and sweet and soft. She sings like a respectable lady and is respectable in her own right. Her songs are respectable!
After her duet with monica 'The boy is mine' she became well know in the music industry. Monica could not have chosen a better artist to do her duet with, brandys voice is so different to other artist, you could pick her soothing voice from many other artists.
Her previous album 'FULL MOON' was great. It had strong rnb tunes with much more bass like 'What about us?' and 'Full moon'.
Shes even helped her little brother Ray Jay into the music industry. She loves her family and has even introduced him to her Moesha show. But her brothers music career didnt do too well. Dispite brandys helping hand it seems REAL talent wins in the end.
TIMBALAND has brought fire to this album. Any rnb lover will know who he is and know that hes respectable, and if you've got him working on your music you know its going to be good and that it's going to sell. He served as the singers main colaborator on the album.
With timberlands direction, imagination and brandys talent, she reached further into herself and found a higher level of passion and soul and put it in to her music. She has definately let her talent grow and reach higher heights than before.
Her tracks on this album are about her personal exsperiences. The album takes you on a journey. 'Afrodisiac' is about Brandy.

Her first single of this album 'talk about our love' you hear her colaborating with hip hop artist KANYE WEST. (his albums good too!!) Which adds a bit of old skool hip hop to the album.
She is still only 25! and is mother and she looks brilliant. I have to give her praise for having such an amazing figure, and looking like shes only 18.

This album is soothing therfore relaxing. Its not clubby not angry and not sad. Its good at motivating love problems. as this album is mostly about relationships.
She sings like a lady not a slag. Id say most men would have respect for Brandy. I like all the songs on this album. There are no interludes!! yey! just pure quality rnb music. Totally recomend this to my girls!! I mostly listen to this in the evening to make me relax.
