Review of Writing's On The Wall, The - Destiny's Child by
Stephanie_F
Advantages: All the songs are amazing
Disadvantages: none
...This album is absolutely amazing. I got it for a present and didn't even like Destiny's Child that much but this album changed all that. These four (now its only three after various changes to the group) feisty ladies have amazing voices and write their own songs. There's a mix of all different types of songs but even though they are all RnB it is still a fantastic album. A lot of their songs are based on their own experiences and they have a great selection of songs. They include "Bills, Bills, Bills", "Say my name" and "Bug a Boo". This album is definitely not to be missed and is really worth listening to....

great band
Review of general - Destiny´s Child by
smile
Advantages: songs, album great, perform well live
Disadvantages: members leaving
...I only recently decided I really liked Destiny's child, I had previously ignored their songs and dismissed thema s a band. After I saw them performing live, my thoughts were rapidly changed. I saw Destiny's child at Party In The Park, and I think they stole the show. Their songs have attitude, style and fun in them, and their ability to perform live is outstanding. They encouraged crowd participation when they released doller bills into the crowd during Bills Bills Bills and their performance was enjoyed by all! The fact that there are only two original members left (I think!) is a little off putting, are they really still Destiny's Child? But, theur album, songs and live performances are top quality. Well done!...

where did the music go!
Review of Tim's House - Kate Walsh by
titusbumus
Advantages: It won't get in the way
Disadvantages: you will not remember it for long
...I bought this disc on the basis that Kate was supposed to be a new DIDO.
Kate is billed as an 'alternative' rock/pop artiste and I think that is an excellent description as the tracks on this disc are not rock and I doubt they will be POPular.
To give an impression of how i felt about this disc, I would have to say it fits neatly into the background/wallpaper genre. my first listen to the disc was at my work desk as I did some paperwork. I had been working for around an hour when it dawned on me that the music had stopped! given that the tracks on the disc are about 45/50 mins in length this should tell you about how it came across.
I immediately replayed it, as i assumed I'd been too caught up in my work [yeah right!] to have heard it properly.
And after i had heard the 3rd track i realised that i could not remember the first 2...
