...I got this for my birthday and i loved it. I have been into evanescence for about a year and starting to build my Band DVD collection. The DVD is taken from their paris tour and it captures the essence of the band. You get to know them with the behind the scenes part. I loved their Korn cover of thoughtless and have now become a fan of Korn. And their previously unreleased track 'Missing' has now become my favourite evernescence song ever. I just love the haunting melody of it. The CD that comes with it is perfect when you want to listen to Amy's amazing voice on the go. This way you can have all the atmosphere of this amazing performance on you MP3 or Ipod. I can't find the easteregg though, maybe it is just me being wierd.... Read review

...Sure enough, Loreena's voice is a special one. Haunting, clear, and multi-coloured. She can sing,(!) bringing a dying monk's final hours closer, or relay a saga about a magical swan. Some say the true talent of a singer cannot be tested any better than how they manage to do a live performance. Loreena does not only give away a fine concert, the lyrics are somewhat different here and there, the speed is up in some places, and in particular The Old Ways intro, with a whirling violin, is dizzying. Brilliance at it's best. The proceeds of this CD go to the Cook-Rees Memorial Fund for Water Search and Safety. McKennitt co-founded this fund after she lost 3 men who were dear to her. ...Simple Minds – Live in the city of lights is one of those albums that most people seem to have in their collection without the band being one the really high profile. The bulk of the album was recorded in Paris in 1986, which is obscene, because that is fourteen years ago, which makes me, feel awfully old. As a compilation album it has all of the bands best known hits like Don’t you forget about me, Alive and Kicking which was used by Sky when the Premiership started. Others include Sanctify Yourself and Book of Brilliant Things. This is a great album giving you the very best of that other band from Ireland.... Read review
