......Introduction...
Following on from my recent review of Keyshia Cole's debut album "The way it is" I thought that it would be a good idea to review her second album "Just Like You" This album was released in 2007 and has a number of collaborations and appearances from some of the biggest names in Hip Hop and R&B. Some of these include the likes of Alicia Keys, Andre 3000 and Missy Elliot along with top producers Scott Storch and Rodney Jerkins.
...Just Like You...
1. Let It Go - Keyshia Cole, Missy Elliott, Lil' Kim
This is a great way to open the album, A nice hip hop slow jam with an old school feel. This is a laid back track which has some nice sounds in the background. This has a very funky feel and is a fine opening.
2. Didn't I Tell You - Keyshia Cole, Too Short
This starts with an epic backing and then develops...

Advantages: Too many to list Disadvantages: Some of Scott's solo stuff is 'difficult'
...seems like an introduction for all, which is how it should be. If after listening to this you want to investigate Scott more, you can. If you find his solo stuff all too much you can concentrate on the Walker Brothers period. I myself went off and and bought up some Scott solo stuff and found it very difficult. One day I will return to those records, but they take patience and time!
Scott is an enigma. He's still writing music (releasing yet another mind bendingly challanging CD only recently). He is held up as a hero by some of the cream of intelligent songwriting (Nick Cave, David Bowie, Julian Cope and Javis Cocker to name but a few). He also produced the rather off-centre Pulp album 'We Love Life'. Since the 60's he has spent most of his time in the UK and at one point in the late 80's, when asked where he had been for the last few years...

Advantages: Amazing voice, unbelievable musical genius Disadvantages: There last album :(
...Creed was formed in 1995 in Tallahassee, FL, by vocalist Scott Stapp and guitarist Mark Tremonti. After about 9 years together, Creed split up after releasing three albums "my own prison", "human clay" and "weathered" selling over 30 million albums worldwide in that time.
Better known over in the US, they were so successful leading to them being one of Americas biggest rock bands in over ten years before splitting last year.
The Human Clay album was one of my personal favourites with such hits as "With Arms Wide Open", and "Higher", but the Weathered album was just as successful and gave us "My sacrifice", one of my all time favourite songs.
The lead singer Scott Stapp's voice is genius, as so is the rest of the bands musical skills. Tremonti's guitar skills were sublime.
After splitting Scott Stapp has now gone solo with his new...
