After Hours Vol.3 - Various Artists

...Have already rated the previous album (put your hands up vol.1) and many of my points apply to this album aswell. After continually listening to the first album i decided to buy this one aswell and again i was not disappointed. There is again a brilliant mix of tracks over 3 CD's including several remixes and club mixes such as that of Camille Jonesvs Fedded le Grande-The Creeps (club mix). This i believe to be one of the best but there are 62 other tunes that you will just want to get up and dance to. Again, as like the previous album there is bonus content on CD1 including 3 awesomw music videos including Fedde Le Grande-Put your hands up and Alex Gaudino-Destination Calabria. ...Expanse of Colour is another CD in the "ambient sounds of nature" series. There seems to be a minor error in the Ciao catalogue. It lists the artistes involved in the "ambient sounds of nature" series as being "various artists." The credits on the CDs in my collection show that the composer and performer on the CDs is Levantis. The tracks on this CD are: Past, The Womb of Mother Earth, Expanse of Colour (the title track of this CD) Density of Life, Preservation and Future. As with the other CDs in the series, Levantis takes some sounds from nature (ambient sounds) such as singing birds, crickets, and blends them into a perfect with some rather gorgeous and lush music. Unlike some of the so-called relaxing CDs that are on the market which rely on rather weedy electro-pap music created on ill-tuned synthesisers, the music of Levantis... Read review

...I stole this cd off my brother after listening to it at his house. It's not really scary type hardrock, it's just nice. It has songs by The Queens, Against All authority, Mustard Plug & The nobodys as well as loads more. It's even got a cover of Walk Like an Egyptian which is absoloutely amazing. It's not for lovers of pop but more for people who like The Offspring, Less Than Jake, etc. My favourite song in the world is on this album, it's called Lolita and it's by Mustard Plug, It's just great and every time I hear it, I'm singing it for hours. If sombody asked me if they should buy it or not, I would drag them down to the shop, sit and wait till it was open, that is if it was closed, and make them buy it while shouting 'BUY IT NOW! NOW! NOW!' repeatedly.... Read review
