Advantages: A few bangers Disadvantages: Inconsistent
Coming a year after his big breakthrough with "Kamezaki", "The Day After" is the 2005 album from Twista and the sixth overall release from him. He is a Chicago MC, and this mid-west influence gives it a change from the prominence of Dirty South, East, and West Coast rappers in the US at this time.
1. "The Day After"
I wasn't immpressed by the start to this album as it gets the main fault with the last album immerge immediately as Toxic get on the beats, and once again fail to match with Twista's fast-paced style of spitting bars of rhymes. It all makes for a chaotic tune without a rigid structure.
**Two Stars**
2. "Check That Hoe"
Twista informs of how we should be more careful with the people we get close to, as they are often the ones which are able to hurt us the most, and most significantly. It has him work with beats ...
Advantages: 14 out of 15 excellent tracks Disadvantages: none
This is one of his flawless albums,
Firstly if you haven't listened to twista then your missing out, he is a very good hip-hop artist, my sister introduced me to his music last year and I was annoyed I hadn't heard him sooner, but now I have, I listen to his music all the time,
14 out 15 are in my hip-hop favorites list on my ipod, they don't sound similar in anyway, the tracks have unique sounds with his flowing really well . Some good artists have collaborated with him on the tracks and it really is a must have album.
If you love hip-hop then this album must be in your collection. my personal fav's are 1-5 and 7-15 but im not a fan of track 6.
The best tracks of all is track 1,2 and 3.
1. The Day After
2. Check That Hoe
3. Chocolate Fe's and Red bones feat Johnny P
The collaboration's on this album are as follows ...
Advantages: Great quality music, lots of songs to suit your mood Disadvantages: Couple of poor songs, controversial if you're not into this music
the world because of that reason, but, again, with Hailie everything is okay. The lyrics are really sweet and I'm sure any parent can relate. If anyone knows Eminem's real story, they'll know he's had a constant struggle with gaining custody of his daughter, despite the fact that Hailie's mum apparently wasn't fit to be a mother. Em got custody a couple of years ago, and has since brought out a couple of songs regarding his daughter.
The melody of this song is quite soft, and has a verse-chorus-verse structure of him singing how much he loves Hailie-Jade. The bassline is quite bouncy and makes you sway your head. After a couple of repeats verse-chorus, etc, he launches into a rap. This rap is a lot more fast-paced and his lyrics are quite angry, as he raps about how much he hates Hailie's mum, how difficult she's made his life. He raps as though ...

Album Notes
Recording information: 2005. The third member of LOX (alongside Jadakiss and Styles P) to release solo work, Sheek Louch follows up his debut, 2003's WALK WITT ME, with AFTER TAXES in 2005. Louch's flow comes straight out of the East Coast hardcore tradition, with a slow, heavy delivery and lots of muscle in the attack. Louch spends a lot of AFTER TAXES critiquing the commercial aims of rappers like 50 Cent, but the inventive beats and hard-hitting rhymes here (not to mention the cameos from, among others, Jadakiss, Styles P, Ghostface Killa, and Redman) are proof enough that Sheek Louch intends to stay street.
