...Give 'em enough rope is the clash's second album, and like the first is absolutely brilliant. The Clash got in the big American producer Sandy Pearlman and produced an extremely accomplished album. Give em enough rope is more an American than British album although the Clash never betray their roots. The standout tracks are "Safe European Home", "Last Gang in Town" and "All The Young Punks(New Boots and Contracts". The only dissapointment is "guns on the roof" which is a very bad song. The album is probably the heaviest Clash album, Full of short, fast punk classics.... Read review

...Wow here we go again ! Why do the English love to trash anybody that has a bit of success? Those who remember the trashing Kylie got at one time and more recently The Spice Girls;Stock Aitken and Waterman faired no better either. Look back over the years and see that if you dare get good then heaven help you.Out will come the knives !!!!!! Is it so uncool to like Steps ? Sorry but I do!!!!!!! And judging on tour date sell outs so do a lot more 'uncool people' Steps are what you see take em' or leave em' but why trash em????????... Read review

Advantages: Maturity in her voice
Disadvantages: Copy Controlled CD- can't put it on your MP3 unless you download it

...You just have to listen to one of her songs in any album and you will become a fan right away. Her voice has no languages nor barriers. In Mariza's Fado all you can hear is someone singing with her whole heart. In her voice you see a picture, that soon becomes a story. I recomended this CD to all of my friends and colleagues even though they did not understand Portuguese. They soon began understanding fado and have become as passionate of Fado as I have. I own "Fado em mim, Fado Curvo, transparente & Conncerto em Lisboa" all four of them are amazing!!!! I also own the 2 DVD's- Concerto em Lisboa and live in London. This is some of the best music I have ever heard! Sung 200% from her heart!... Read review
