Even by their own superb standards this is just class. The playing is sublime, production is out of this world and the songs are the best they possibley ever assembled in one place. Only 7 tracks and such an advance on their previous effort The Royal Scam.
This Is a driving album, its a chilling album. It can be taken with red and white wine. You can close your eyes and drift. You can even learn how Deacon Blue got the name from best track on this album.
If you buy one album and its not a best of Steely Dan make it this one. You will not regret it, it may even amaze you the way it did me back in 1977.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Sorry if my rating may seem harsh but you haven't told me anything about the album or the group. A tracklisting and a brief outline of the style of music would be helpful to me.

See other comments. The review is seriously lacking and tells me very little about the type of music or the songs on the album. Have a look at other similar reviews for the type of info to include.
