Ajang Collection Vol.2 - Various Artists

Advantages: So good songs
Disadvantages: There can't possibly be any!

...I brought top of the pops2000 vol.1 at the beginning of the year. I brought it through Jungle.com which made great value for money especially as it has 2 cds with about 20 songs on each. When i had listened to it i knew the next one would be great too. Then later in the year (not so long ago) i brought top of the pops2000 vol.2. This was also great value for money. I couldn't believe how recent the songs we're. I was very pleased. There was 2 cds again and about 20songs on each again. I can't wait for the next volumes, they will be great. I will be proberly getting them from Jungle.com like i did with the other two, because they are so good for value for money. I would recommend anybody collecting the albums because there is music for all different tastes of pop music. The cover looks great too and very professional in a cool way!!!!!... Read review

Advantages: Varied popular songs plus some obscure ones
Disadvantages: The obscure songs are probably not to everyones taste

...This is the second CD I have brought from this series, I find these CD's a general overview of the years music relating to well known tracks to some that are unknown to me. This therefore make is a very good album to listen to as you know what you are getting from some of the songs. artists like Sterophonics, Muse, Athlete, The Libertines and so on are well known and will appeal to the majority. There are however some more obscure songs bands like Client, Bees, which although are not to bad for my taste they may not appeal to everyone. On the whole I have found this to be a good album in my collection and one that I will listen to if I can not make up my mind. If you like the main popular songs on this album then I would recommend to have this in your collection.... Read review

Advantages: Nostalgia, great tracks, second hand bargain
Disadvantages: Can be hard to find

...As soon as you hear the first cords of EMFs Unbelievable you will be transported back in time - you might have been at secondary school or uni or perhaps your mid twenties. Whatever your current age this CD compilation will bring the memories whizzing back. This is a great collection of over 30 indie tracks across 2 CDs from the late 80s and early 90s including classics such as Step On by the Happy Mondays, Sit Down by James, The Size of a Cow by the Wonder Stuff and I Am the Resurrection by the Stone Roses. I bought this for a bargain £4 off ebay and you could pick a copy up from here. Thoroughly reccommended if you were an indie fan and want to listen to the old tunes without going back to your old tape collection!... Read review
