Advantages: Every track is awesome, very unique Disadvantages: Some of the songs take a while to grow on you
...time I heard them, but they grew on me, and now there is no track I don't like. My favourite track has to be "Oh! (What A Glorious Thing)" (track 3) because it is upbeat, happy, and puts me in a good mood everytime I listen to it.
Like a lot of his music, a lot of the songs on this album are about serious issues, some controversial. "1 2 3 4 5 6 7" is about religion - in particular Christianity, the song "Dead Babies" is about abortion. Due to these controversial lyrics, especially the ones found in "Thanks For All The AIDs" lead to Interscope (the record label) deciding they weren't going to release the album because it was too politically sensitive. Due to this, Akira decided to leave Interscope and had British independent record label 'Something In Construction' to release the album (as well as future releases).

Advantages: Quality tracks with excellent music & lyrics. Disadvantages: Its a 7 track EP, so make sure youre not paying album price for it.
...-ozzy bassist Mike Inez, and after touring they went into the studio to record Jar Of Flies, the first recording with Mike Inez in the line-up.
Jar Of Flies was originally released together with an earlier EP 'Sap', but was later released on its own. It is probably cheaper if your bought the double EP set rather than buying them individually.
The Jar OF Flies EP has 7 tracks. One of these tracks, 'Whale & Wasp', is purely instrumental, and shows what the band are capable of with some awesome guitaring. Two singles were released off the EP, 'No Excuses' & 'I Stay Away', these are both very catchy tracks and No Excuses is one of my favourite tracks from the EP. The whole EP is different from the bands previous work, they take more of an acoustic approach, and this is one of their calmer releases! The track 'Don’t Follow' is very effective...

Advantages: Brilliant vocals and some fantastically powerful instrumental work. Disadvantages: Fans of The Darkness may find the music of Stone Gods a bit too full on.
.... It is the 'Burn The Witch' EP after all though so I guess that it's only right that this should be so. If you're a fan of the likes of Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe etc. then the sound that this band produce will be right up your street. It is hard rock at it's finest, the guitar riffs are hugely powerful and the vocals come belting through with great vigour. Stone Gods mean business here and 'Burn The Witch' is the finest example of hard rock music that they have to offer on this EP, don't let this have you believe that the rest of the EP isn't worth listening to however as this certainly isn't true at all.
As second track 'You Brought A Knife To A Gunfight' starts up once more the band impress greatly. The band carry on steam rolling through here with some more hard hitting rock music, a fine display of how rock music should always sound. It...
