Advantages: great value, loads of great songs
Disadvantages: could have been longer... supppose you can never get enough of thi kind of music

...Ashs' latest album, FREE ALL ANGELS is solid class. After thinking their best had gone in the form of Nu-clear sounds and 1977 i was mistaken! This album it brilliant! An excellent indie rock album right through. Its a bit quicker than the others and has a lot more potential hit singles in the form of 'Cherry Bomb' 'world domination' and 'shining light'. There is a real Indie revival with this album being one leading the way along side FEEDER, OCEAN COLOUR SCENE and STEREOPHONICS (Sort of) I think this is the album of the year so far, i may be mistaken but for now FREE ALL ANGELS will be spending the next few weeks in my hifi. If you like ash this is a must but even if you dont GET THIS!!!... Read review

Advantages: Something different, writes own songs
Disadvantages: you either love her or hate her there is no inbetween

...Wayward Angel is Kasey Chamber's 3rd album after her debut in 1999 with "The Captain" and her second album "Barricades & Brickwalls released in 2002. She wrote or co-wrote all of the songs (14 in total) and some are written with her real life partner. Length of album is just short of one hour, so it is good value for money. KC was born in 1976 in Australia and comes from a musical family, Parents and Brother formed a band (The dead Ringer Band) with her and released 3 albums before her first solo album in 1999. She won best female artist in Australia in 2000, beating Kylie Minogue and becoming the first Country artist to win this award. Nash Chambers (her Brother) produced "Wayward Angel" and her Father Bill Chambers plays instruments on a number of tracks. She has quite a unique quality to her voice, and as I have said above you... ...For me, Ash are the only ones, the only guitar band doing the business at the moment. We are suffocated by pop music and rubbish rap metal like limp wristed, I mean limp Biskit. This is Ash’s 3rd proper album, and first one with the girl. It is far and away the best album of the year, and it kicks in with the up tempo and uplifting track Walking Barefoot, the lyrics might not make to much sense to be but if your driving you just want to crank up the stereo and wind the windows down. The magnificent single Shining Light is track two and is an absolute classic. If fact there is only one dodgy moment in 45 minutes worth of rock is Submission. Apart from the Shining light the standout track has to be Sometimes. It is a slow tempo guitar Ballard with magnificent lyrics.... Read review
