...Thumping, pulsing and free flowing, Wipeout 2097: The Soundtrack is a collection of big names (along with some you may well not have heard of) with tracks ranging from drum 'n' bass, ambient through to frenetic hyper dance, all grouped together under the heading "electronica". Confused? I thought you might be, you poor little chart-fed things, you... If you really don't like electronic music, techno et al, I can't exactly say you'll enjoy this :P But for the rest of you, a high voltage dance experience awaits... My favourite track: "Atom Bomb" by Fluke..a dark, pulsating stylish thriller, also comes armed with a great vibe.... Read review

...this cd is a great cd if your a dnb head like me its a great cd to add to your hype collection and also has quite a few styles of dnb in it.. (jungle , new and old) this cd also has a bonus dj hype interview that is accesable on a computer from disk 3. the best disk has to be disk 1 as it has a variety of well known songs and really gets you pumped. cd 2 is a good cd for relaxing really and dnb to chill out too. disk 3 is an all out rave disk this has some of the badest songs that i no off and has some really good riffs and bass lines too it. all i can really say is if you havn't bought this cd al ready and you love dnb you will love this cd.... Disadvantages: Some of the cast's voices are not quite up to scratch

...This amazing soundtrack includes 20 great tracks recorded by the actual cast! When we heard Johnny Depp would be doing his own singing on the tracks, we were unsure as to how attuned his vocal chords were, but as it has become evident with the soundtrack and the film, his voice is just right for the part! The best 3 tracks of the soundtrack are Johanna, By the sea and not forgetting, the soon to be classic, A little priest, which is the comical pinnacle of the soundtrack...describing people as though they were pies. Al-in-all this must be one of the best soundtracks ever, produced by one of our favorite people Tim Burton. This was one album that was well worth the wait.... Read review
