The real Grand Prix music.
Review of Rumours - Fleetwood Mac by
daseaford
Advantages: Real racing music.
Disadvantages: Only one minute.
...You can listen to this album and appreciate the terrific vocals, the changes in mood, the wonderful guitar playing, but all of that is forgotten when halfway through The Chain you hear it! Yes, the theme music from the BBC Grand Prix programme!!!
Alas, now the F1 Grand Prix’s races are shown on ITV we don’t hear the “real” music, but I know for most of us F1 fans this is still the one and only theme for F1.
If you are listening to this album in your car then The Chain adds at least 20mph to any speed you are driving, if on the open road. You will automatically reach for the volume control and turn it right up. Alas, the “good” bit is less than one minute long, but that is why they included rewind buttons on cassette players.
Wait for the green light, it’s go, go go!...

Review of Maladjusted - Morrissey by
MrRight
Advantages: Discovering lyrics of Wildean genius
Disadvantages: Not all that popular
...I find it hard to believe that nobody has felt the need to write about Morrissey here at ciao.com yet. The musical master behind the Smiths has been sadly ignored of late, despite continuing success with world tours. Maladjusted was Morrissey's last proper release - besides a B-Sides collection released earlier this year - but fan everywehere doubt it will be his last. Being the reason behind many people's existence, it all we have to hold on to. Alas, I've only seen him once, at the Leeds Two and Country Club in November 1999. I can honestly say this was one of the most incredible nights of my entire life. Words can't do it justice, so I won't even try to. Whay don't you find out for yourself....

Quick review and some extra stuff on Moby
Review of Play - Moby by
ildamiano
Advantages: Atmosphere, sound, lighting, tunes
Disadvantages: Moby's voice (but what the hey!)
...'t sing for toffee, alas, but in keeping with Bob Dylan and Shane McGowan, song-writing geniuses can be forgiven for indulging themselves in this manner.
All-in-all a rattling good show!...
