Panjabi MC - The Album is all of panjabi mc's best work to date on one CD. It has got to be worth it because panjabi mc is a great artist. He was the first asian producer to break on to the UK industry with the famous 'Mundian To Bach Kay' with the famous Knightrider tune in it.

Panjabi mc is not an mc anymore but just a producer. He only makes traditional punjabi songs which dont contain any english which makes it hard for people in the UK to understand. Despite its many pleasures, this is probably still too bhangra-oriented for the crossover market.

He's made Tracks with the likes of Jay Z and Twista so he's got to be big. Many people cannot understand his songs but i can and also own it so i have taken the time to review it.

The album cover is a drawing of a hand, it just shows the weird side of panjabi mc just like his video for munidan to bachke very weird!

The first track is 'Mundian to Bachke' which means 'Beware of the Boys' this is the orignial version which was first release way back around the 1996 time but it still is a club banger. It contains the Knightrider sample and was number 1 in many countries including Germany. It got in to the top ten in the Uk, not bad for a track with not a single word of english in it. But the track is amazing cant say more about it.

The second track is 'Mirza Part 2'. This is another track of Panjabi MC's that made him biggg. The music is excellent with a slow and soothing beat and a very powerful voice of Surinder Shinda on the vocals. This track also contains an MC with some really meaningfull lyrics. Another Great Tune!

Track 3 is labelled 'Jatt Ho Giya Sharabee'. This song contains a much faster tempo and consists of the voice of the legendry punjabi singer Kuldip Manak. Not a bass full track but still catchy and well produced, Punjabi MC keeps on smashing it!

'Ghalia Gurian' is track 4. which contains lyrics from a punjabi lady. The track is a slow one but the production is awesome. Not really a track to blaze out loud but a tune with a soothing feel. PMC keepin it up.

Track 5 is called 'Jind Mahi' and one of the main tunes that started of Panjabi MC's big career. Panjabi MC used Four different Panjabi Singers (Surinder Shinda, Kuldip Manak, Ranjit Mani and Labh Janjua) The biggest singers in the industry (Whih nobody had ever done before) in the MID 90's and shook the world with this tune. And still today it is heard all over what a great tune!!

The next track is called 'Challa' by another legendary singer Gurdaas Mann. This trask is another slow one but its vocals are so meaningful and it is a really strong song. Its one that really gets to you. Amazing!

'Yaaran Kolo Sikh Kuriye' is the next track and this tune has been causing damage all over dancefloors. Its anthem stlye hip hop music and powerful vocals make it an amazing track. The tune is catchy and again Panjabi MC does the damage.

'Jugni' follows with a more traditional style. But it still does not fail to dissapoint. A true panjabi mc prodcution and great traditional vocals.

The lasy track is the Remix of 'Mundian to Bachke' featuring Jay Z. It is called 'Beware of the Boys Remix'. This song has the same tune and beat but with the standard Labh Janjhua lyrics Jay Z blesses the Mic. He almost sings a translated version of the song (... So beware of the boys a.k.a ... Munidan to Bachke Rahin). Its good to see Panjabi mc collaborating with such big artists and winning the international artist award 2004 at MTV awards must of been a big plus for him.

Overall the album is full of all his classics. His great tunes from the last decade and still banging today. A Great album and worth every penny. Should cost around £10 from Amazon. 9.5/10 Well worth the money!!!

Watch out for his next release it will be even better!!
