This is a 2 disc album with a pretty good yet fairly different playlist. With a combination of tracks both old and new.

I bought this last year for about £15 in my local Woolworths. I think its pretty steep for what it is. With a good line up of artists that have been taking britain by storm over the past 25 years to present day. The Cover itself is quite eyecatching and it lists the artist on the front cover so I think thats what drew me to buy the c.d in the first place.

DISC ONE:

Coldplay - Fix You
Album - X&Y
Very Subtle song, not one of their best but enjoyable all the same. Easy listening. 7/10

KT Tunstall - Suddenly I See
Album - Eye to the telescope
Smash hit song, against all the other tracks on this disc it sounds quite out of place. Sound's o.k though with a great feel good vibe. 8/10

Oasis - Importance of being Idle
Album - Stop the clocks
This song is great, easy to listen to. Not to slow nor too fast. I think the disc picks up aliitle from this song onwards. 9/10

Razorlight - Somewhere Else
Album - Unknown
Upbeat, Modern, Fresh and an amazing feel good vibe. 10/10

The Magic Numbers - Love me like you
Album - The Magic Numbers
Upbeat, great pick me up song! Probably the groups best so far! Smash Hit! 9/10

Paul Weller - Come on/Let's Go
Album - Hit Parade
I am 50/50 on this song. Not as good as his earlier stuff, good beats. 6/10

Franz Ferdinand - Do you want to
Album - You could have it so much better
Good track, upbeat & modern. Not the best lyrics and different tempo's 7/10

The Killers - All those tings I've done
Album - Hot Fuss
Fairly laid back song! The lyrics "I've got soul but im not a soldier" sold me on this song - Lyrical Genius! 8/10

Kings Of Leon - The bucket
Album - Aha Shake Heartbreak
Great Intro - drummer is ace! Fairly easy on the ears! 7/10

The Zutons - You will You wont
Album - Who killed The Zutons?
Quite plain, lyrics not all that. I don't like this at all. Aquired taste! 4/10

Blur - Song 2
Album - Blur
One of the few classic indie songs on the whole album. Great beats & vibe. Easy to sing to. Get out the air guitar! 9/10

Pixies - Monkey Gone To Heaven
Album - Wave Of Mutiltion
Very slow start, makes me want to skip to the next track! Not all that. 3/10

Editors - Blood
Album - The Back Room
I love the tempo and the guitar rifts! Lyrics are ace! This is one of my faves! Adrenalin Pumping! 10/10

Maximo Park - Going Missing
Album - A Certain Trigger
I am undecided on this one also, I like it but at the same time I dont. Some parts of the song are really lacking inspiration. 5/10

Morrissey - The first of the gang to die
Album - You are the Quarry
This isn't too bad, easy on the ears! Sounds quite poppy. 6/10

Caesars - Jerk It Out
Album - Paper Tigers
Funky & Upbeat! Great song for this c.d! Great Tempo and the guitar rifts are legendary! 10/10

Babyshambles - F**K Forever
Album - Down in Albion
Good Intro and then it all goes downhill from there. No tune! Dissapointing! 1/10

Clor - Love + Pain
Album - Clor
Upbeat Intro, different to all the other tracks on the disc. love the pace of the song! 8/10

R.E.M - Finest Worksong
Album - The best of R.E.M
Quite rocky, then mellows a little throughout the song. Vocals are distinctive 6/10

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
Album - Delicate sound of thunder
The oldest of the tracks on the C.D. Very mellow and chilled out.
Perfect ending to disc one! 10/10

Disc One Summary:

I think their are some truly amazing songs on here but there a some bad ones and I feel that it lets it down in all honesty!

Disc Two:

Gorillaz - Dare

This song makes me feel so happy! Distinctive vocal! Love it 9/10

Audio Bullys Feat. Nacy Sinatra - Shot you down

Out of place on this album
More clubbing song, Lyrics are o.k! 5/10

Goldfrapp - Ooh La La
Album - Suprnature
This song is the Tops! Really good lyrica! An all round ace piece of music! 10/10

Kasabian - Club Foot

Not too keen, a bit plain and boring! 3/10

Starsailor - In the crossfire
Album - On the outside
This is good, nice feel about it. Good lyrics! Really enjoy listening to this. 8/10

The tears -- Refugees

Do not rate this at all! Dissapointing really! It sounds awful! 0/10

Travis - Why does it always rain on me
Album - The man who
This song is o.k but i think it leaves you feeling depressed. Rather not listen to it. 5/10

Paul McCartney - Fine Line
This is not very good, no tune and lyrics ar a bit silly. Another dissapointment. 0/10

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Aint no easy way
Album - Howl
Good pick me up song, upbeat and I love it! 8/10

Smian - La Breeze
Album - We are your friends
Another great song, a different intro. Great Lyrics! Blinding! Rate this alot! 10/10

Hal - What a lovey dance
Album - Hal
Quite boring, intro is too slow. Sounds the same all the way through. 3/10

Supergrass - St petersburg
Album - Road to Rouen
Soft and mellow great lyrics and a good tune! 9/10

Turin Brakes - Fishing for a dream
Album - Nice, mellow intro! Good gitarist, lyrics are soft. Nice track that is easy to listen to. 9/10

Radiohead - Fake plastic trees
Album - The bends
Easy listening although it is too slow and quite a depressing feel to it. 4/10

Embrace - A glorious day
Album - Out of nothing
Really good song, holds strong all the way through. Good tempo and lyrics. 9/10

Athlete - Half Light
Album - Tourist
Drummer is a legend! I like this so much! Different vibe to it! Recommended! 10/10

Elbow - Forget myself
Album - Leaders of the storm
Not very strong, lyrics and tune are weak. 2/10

Doves - Snowden
Album - Some Cities
O.k, good song lyrics are ok. Nothing special. 6/10

Royksopp - Only this moment
Album - The understanding
Very poopy, dancey intro. So out of place on the c.d. It's ok. 5/10

Disc Two Summary:
Alot weaker than the 1st cd and I really do think that the weak songs let the whole album down.

If you like this sort of thing then I would recommend it but if there is acertain song you know you like I have included the album that you can find it on.

It is also expensive for what it is.
