Polydor, which was ultimately released only in Japan. A former member of seminal 90s UK RnB girl group Mis-Teeq, Dixon is probably better known to most as the winner of 2007's Strictly Come Dancing, and this reputation is played on in the lyrics of lead single 'The Boy Does Nothing'. On the album, Dixon is reinvented as a sassy, soulful songstress, utilizing her fine voice across a variety of genres from pop to funk and even mambo.
I had heard of the band Misteeq before , however they were are group that I didn't pay much attention to , although I was quite familiar with their single 'Scandalous'. The band eventually split and Alesha 'came back' as a solo artist. I loved her debut single 'knockdown' , although apparently it didn't do that well and so she was dropped by her record company. It was that song that made me notice her. However , last year she appeared on the BBC show 'Strictly Come Dancing' which I am pleased to say she won. Since appearing on the show , her popularity has risen and so meant she was 'famous enough' to do well in the charts , and so she released another album ; the CD which I'm about to review. Although , firstly I'll give a little bit more information as to who AleshaDixon really is.

The Ramada Encore in Bournemouth is a well placed hotel within walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants as well as the beach and surroundings attractions. At the time of writing there are over 70 Ramada hotels in the UK.
ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN
The hotel was easy enough to spot from the main road as it has a large sign in front to indicate its presence. We drove into the car park at the rear of the hotel and managed to find a parking space. There were also guest parking spaces at the front of the hotel and underground parking available with a lift to bring you up to reception. The car park has around 80 spaces.

I find that Lulu and Lionel Ritchie would seem quite odd singers to feature on this CD with Russell but they really do make fantastic duets which give the CD the slight edge away from the classical which appealed to me.
The Cd cover has a picture of Russell Watson walking down a long corridor with his name at the top and the title of the CD, Encore, at the bottom. The reverse of the CD has a head shot of Russell smiling and the track play list.
The Cd cover also cobntains a few words from Bill Borrows about the CD and Russell and it also contains the words for each of the songs.
This CD was produced in 2001 by Decca Music Group Limited.
I paid roughly £7 for my copy but it can be bought cheaper if you shop around.
