Alessandro Del Piero used to be in my opinion one of the best strikers in the world, but now he misses with more consistency than Andy Cole. He gets into some brilliant positions baut his finishing is appaling, and I think that this is why he is consistently left out of the team for Italy in favour of Francesco Totti- he gives much more to the team than Del Piero in that he can pass better and also hold up the ball. del Piero is a bit selfish, and although he plays for a brilliant team does not score as many as he should. i am sure that when he gets his confidence back he will start scoring again but when will it happen- hopefully sooner rather than later. ...
