This album is absolubtly fantastic! It is one of the most well written albums and doesnt have one single bad track. The Mooney Suzuki are quite unknown but are one of the best sounding rock bands around.
The tracks:
Primitive Condition Alive & Amplified Legal High New York Girls Shake That Bush Again Sometimes Somethin' Loose 'n' Juicy Hot Sugar Messin' In The Dressin' Room Naked Lady
The songs are written by Samy James Junior and Graham Tyler and The Matrix and this is easilly the best sounding album that the band have produced and i would urge anybody with an interest in rock music to go out and buy it. They write about loud music, girls and sex, you may think that this is nothing new, but the way it is written is very good! However, having said that, they cansometimes can sound like they have been written in a few minutes. the lyrics are a little bit naughty ; ) so can bring a smile to your face.
The Mooney Suzuki teamed up with The Matrix to produce this album and it does have a slightly different sound to previous albums. The Mooney Suzuki have been criticised for making this move and have been called sellouts - rubbish!! Some might say it has been over produced... but thats only if you like the sound of buzzing guitars. The overall sound has been tamed down a little bit and cleaned up, the out come is a good clean well polished sound. This may sound like a bad thing to garage rockers, but trust me this album is brilliant - good old rock n roll. The album is full of energy and hip shakin' songs to get you moving.
So all in all, if you like it loud, if you like it rock n roll then you'll like this... as long as you dont mind a bit of over producing and some odd lyrics.
