11. Till The Rivers All Run Dry (3:51) ****
A gentle ballad with some good harmonies rounds off the album. Again there is a strong country, almost gospel flavour here. The track features Eric Clapton, John Entwistle and Billy Nichols (who has been backing vocalist on many of The Who tours). This song was co-written by Don Williams (the C&W singer-songwriter based in Nashville – he is still recording and has an extensive American tour in the latter half of 2003) and Wayland Holyfield.
The cover insert has a sympathetic photograph of Pete and Ronnie (looking rather rough) framed by a collection of old cigarette cards. The inside pages give a listing of the songs. The lyrics...

Advantages: Sublime Orchestral Pop-iness Disadvantages: Too Quirky (and wordy) For Many!
...'Sparks' album, with a mix of obscure and obsession that will warm the heart in all the right places.

The film begins with Elvis as Vince Everett, a guy in the wrong place at the wrong time. He ends up in a bar brawl and accidentally kills a man and is sent to jail. He shares his cell with a guy named Hunk a former country singer and they form a close bond. Some television producers arrive at the prison with the idea of hosting a TV talent show there. Vince is chosen to sing and the audience love him. Vince is unaware of his popularity and Hunk convinces him that he can help him to be a star when they are released.
