Advantages: efective little cleaner Disadvantages: Noisy
I have a small home so when I needed a new vacuum cleaner I chose the Dyson DC24 which is a smaller version of the standard model. It cost £189.99. I was expecting almost a child sized vacuum cleaner but there is not really much difference at all.
It was so simple to put together, there are peel off stickers on the unit to explain things as you go. It only took me 5 minutes to have it assembled. The ball makes vacuuming effortless, and the head of the vacuum is narrow so its easy to get under the sofa, low tables, etc.
It has strong suction as you would expect from a Dyson but it is surprising how full the cylinder is when you have finished. It really gets everything up. This does mean however that you need to empty the dust cylinder quite frequently.
The power cable is short and not retractable which can look a bit untidy if it is ...
Advantages: Easy to set up, no bags, very effective Disadvantages: You have to wash the filters monthly and can not use them for 24 hours while they dry
I own a cleaning company and I was in the middle of cleaning a home when my current vacuum began to smoke and in a rush I needed a new vacuum. I had been seriously considering buying a Dyson for awhile and when I saw that they came with a 5 year warranty I was sold. I assembled the Dyson at my customer's home with no tools and began using it right away. I now use the Dyson ball in every home and it never fails. I don't use a broom anymore either because the Dyson so effectively picks up all the dirt.
I also have a need to use the wand portion of vacuums readily and the Dyson handle easily comes off and becomes your wand. It took a few uses to get the exact motion down to be the most efficient but within the week I was at the point where I could go from floor use to wand within 3 seconds. ...
Hilary Swank plays Teena Brandon, a 21-year-old from Lincoln, Nebraska, who lives under the alias Brandon Teena, believing that she is a man trapped in a woman's body. In a bid to feel accepted by her group of friends, she cuts her hair short, flattens her chest with tension bandages and puts socks down the front of her pants to look more masculine. She hopes one day to fall and love with a woman, declare her secret, and be understood.
Boys Don't Cry is a bleak and emotional tale concerned with the subject of sexual identity. Brandon is a character that feels the need to dress like a man to match the inner self. To "him", he is not living a lie, despite having to disguise his physical appearance with various attire; it's society, on the whole, that has the problem accepting he is different from the norm. The gender distinctions are ...

Album Reviews
Spin (10/95, p.111) - 9 - Near Perfect - "...Nimble bass lines ground [his] metrical flights, or give him a lift when he zigzags into a freestyle cul-de-sac....an MC with both the skills and maturity to challenge the received wisdom that hip-hop's most representative face is a `nigga' driven insane by the system..." Spin (p.104) - "It's got jazzy tunes that stick and rhyme-flows like inner tubes on a waterslide..." The Source (10/95, p.100) - 3 Mics - Good - "...[Aceyalone] proves he is a lyrical wizard, and when it comes to rapid fire delivery and flippin' phrases he can't be touched....thought-provoking lyrics more complicated than calculus..." Option (3-4/96, p.90) - "...Aceyalone unleashes torrents of elegant wordplay, sketching images of African-American life both serious and comic, tapping into universal human feelings to fuel his commentaries..."
