...In my opinion, Avenged Sevenfold's music provides 'something for everyone'. A hybrid of genres are present upon this CD, these include Metal, Country and there are even some elements of a Brass Band within some tracks. The MVI DVD that is included with this special edition of the album is a must have for any Die-Hard fan of Avenged Sevenfold. It contains videos including how the album was made, music videos and much more. Another advantage of the MVI DVD edition is that the DVD allows access to a variety of content that is constantly being updated by the band; For example, music videos that are released after the DVD is released are still able to be accessed on any PC/MAC providing the DVD is in the disc drive and an internet connection is active.... ...but Strength of the world and betrayed really 'take it to the man' and prove that A7x should be put up there with the greatest bands of all time such as iron maiden and Ac/Dc. You do have to listen to this album a few times if your not a fan of heavy music, but anyone with a half decent ear can fully appreciate the 'delicate' and precise guitar solo's, glorious harmonies and staggeringly professional musicianship. Having seen avenged sevenfold live at the Astoria on there City of evil tour, it is clear in my mind that bands like this do not get enough credit for the hard work they put in to albums like this, and performing their set night after night with gusto and perfection. If I had to tell people to buy any heavy metal album this year it would be 'city of evil', groundbreaking, be part of the up and coming ledgend that is Avenged sevenfold... Read review

...this with out a doubt my favourite album and band i have no favourite song i love all of there songs there are 10 different song on there. 01=critical acclaim 02=almost easy 03=scream 04=afterlife 05=gunslinger 06=unbound(the wildride) 07=brompton cocktail 08=lost 09=little peace of heavan 10=dear good the song that is the reason for parental advisory is a little peace of heavan im not going to tell you what the song is about because it will ruine the song. the thing i like the most about avenged sevenfold is the guitar playing synyster gates(lead guitar)is my favourite guitarist of alltime his solos are amazing and zacky vengeance is also an amazing guitarist. the rev is my favourite drumer the reason i learnt guitar is because of synyster gates. so my advise is to buy this album. good bye hope you find this review helpfull....
