... Speaking of filler…anyone else feel that the album title was being literal when it called the album ‘All Killer’?

without All Killer No Filler. The Canadian quartet's California punk formula is a well-worn one that seems to be working: set poppy, three-chord rock to hyperactive speeds, write songs about why you don't care and play up your juvenile-delinquent side for all it's worth (check out the "Going, Going, Gonorrhea" video with the band "doing all the dangerous and immature stuff you shouldn't try from the safety of your own home"). Of course, this has all been done before and will continue to be rehashed again as long as a silly, snotty attitude brings in the record company gold. While these punks a re hardly walking down the block less travelled, they still packed All Killer full of hooks that should snag radio listeners. Peppy sing-along choruses, rolling drum solos and guitar-driven anthems uncork the energy and brightly colour this fast-moving album. --Jennifer Maerz
Advantages: Handle This Disadvantages: Everything else
...Up. Loud, shouty, and lasts all of one minute. I would say that it disrupts the flow of the album, but then that would be implying that the album actually showed some kind of artistic/musical ability. As the piece of poo it is, it fits right in. Lyric of choice – “I plan on never waking up”. Hopefully, the guy doesn’t sing in his sleep.
Track Four – Fat Lip. Actually a decent track, believe it or not. However, chances ... ...crowd.
Track Eleven – All She’s Got. Makes me want to jump off of a bridge. More people will have heard this track than will have heard any Counting Crows music. So…amazingly…the same. It’s getting reminiscent of a garage album now.
Track Twelve – Heart Attack. Aw…so sweet. Ending with a slow track. How nice and peace…AHHHH! After a good chilled start, Sum41 decide to start shouting and rambling about ...

Advantages: Great catchy, fun rock music. Enhanced Cd with videos. Disadvantages: A couple of average tracks, only 32 minutes long.
All Killer No Filler - Sum41
Say kids, are y'all ready for the next big thing? Canadian Pop-Punk types Sum41 may well be it. Current Video "Fat Lip/Pain for Pleasure" is on heavy M2 rotation, sounding like a collision between Blink182, The Beastie Boys and... Iron Madien? Yep, after the main track, catchy little Rap/Punk/Pop excursion "Fat Lip" has finished, we are treated to "Pain For Pleasure", a minute and a half of pure Old School Metal worship. ... ...10: Crazy Amanda Bunkface
11: All She's Got
12: Heart Attack
13: Pain For Pleasure
"Introduction To Destruction" kicks things of. A gravelly voice apes Vincent Price's classic intro to Iron Madien's "Number of the Beast". From there, we dive straight into "Nothing On My Back", a great piece of Blink 182-esque Punk pop, well-written and infectious, a potential hit if it's ever released.
"Never Wake Up" kinda spoils the mood somewhat, being an ...

In Too Deep Review ofAll Killer No Filler [ECD] - Sum 41by

Advantages: Good tracks, Lively Punk Rock Disadvantages: I wish the album was longer
...OBJECTIVE IS TO GIVE US ALL A LITTLE MOSH, A LITTLE ENTERTAINMENT BUT THIS ALBUM TEACHES US NEVER TOO WAKE BUT THE MAIN MESSAGE IS, WE ARE ALL IN TOO DEEP. WHO ARE SUM 41? Well SUM 41 are another punk band on the music scene, emphasising that infact Punks not dead as too many people have been saying nowadays, just look at Blink 182 and Sum 41 of course – the two are the best of friends. Anyway the band members are as follows: BIZZY D BROWN ... ...analysis of it. It’s called: All Killer no Filler and not their first album, though the most popular one, as they were known if you understand what I mean. I don’t mean to be too critical of them when I say this, though although the quality of their songs is good. The tracks are simply not long enough and this album is disappointing when it comes to the length approximately 35 and a half minutes, for a product about £14, need more! Okay ...

Hello to all those who enjoy a tad of punk-pop-punk-rock here is another blast from a group of young geniuses, shall we say of the punk music industry. If you have heard alot of the music of bands such as Blink 182, much of it is similar, however it is also quite different. Nearly all of their songs come with a fast, rythmic background and fastpaced punky lyrics. Yes, already similar to the blink boys, however speed of lyrics and rythm can tend to ... ...a new edge in the punk industry. The very style of the music, however means that it is not for everyone,if you enjoy the sort of music that would drive the neighbours to call the police if the volume was high then it is for you. However, if you enjoy a bit of Jon Bon Jovi and thats heavy enough for you then this sort of thing may be a little hard. Although i have been known to be wrong.
This is the sort of music i think you have to really be into. ...
