Advantages: Great punk-metal album, one of the best!
Disadvantages: Not everyone likes punk metal!

...This album is the first of amen's published albums (lots of trouble with record companies!) Put simply, it's one of the most exciting albums by one of the most exciting bands around today! The art work in the cover is amazing and a blatant protest against pretty much everything! The cd also has a pentaram on it which can only be seen in the correct light (very pretty!) All of the lyrics are also contained within the coverwhich is handy if you like to scream along! This album is a must buy for anyone into the genre and to see amen live is an amazing experience which you can relive over and over with this cd! Advantages: Thunderous metal, and explosive live performances
Disadvantages: One riff?! Vocals can get a bit over-the-top

...Amen are a new metal group. They are NOT a nu-metal group. These two terms are NOT synonimous. Nu-metal is a genre characterised by its long, smooth chords and clean-cut voices (ie. Korn, Linkin Park, Papa Roach etc...). Amen are a completely different kettle o'anthrax. Now that's been cleared up, I would like to say I enjoyed both of Amen's albums (We Have Come For Your Parents and Coma America). Although not groundbreakingly original, they are entertainingly self-destructive, and contain all the energy and power of a good old metal band, but with a more raucous, emotional voice and a more varied approach to their music. This specific song is not one of their best by any means, but demonstrates their heavy, death/speed/power metal style.
